Lucinda Keller

Born and raised in Southern California, Lucinda is a third generation California artist. Largely self and family taught, she has been creating art since she can remember and has studied with some exceptional teachers from Ventura College, LACC, and UCLA Extension. She has worked in many styles and in a variety of media, and fell in love with pastel after visiting Bert Collins in her studio in Ojai, CA. She has had the great joy of participating in Bert's classes for the past few years, as well as working with Richard McKinley in his plain air workshops, bringing yet another dimension to her work.

From Bangkok to Pakistan, Lucinda's love of travel and adventure continue to inspire and influence her work as an artist, especially her recent trips to Italy, adding rustic architectural elements to her subject matter. She shares this passion for art, travel, photography, and teaching on her blog, Cobalt Violet, with other artists and bloggers from more than 100 countries around the world.
